« In my paintings you will find a part of me, of who I am, my character and passion. This is my way of making the world a little more beautiful and I hope you enjoy! » Janine van der Kaaij is an established Dutch painter who has exhibited her work nationwide and worldwide online. She searches for her paintings to achieve beauty and balance, and does so by exploring two main themes: flower paintings and portraits. Her floral paintings are meant to bring joy and capture a powerful atmosphere; her portraits are meant to create an eternal memory in every viewer.

Biography

Being a child, I always loved drawing and painting. After studying Economics and having a job in business, making paintings became my profession. With a family of four children painting was a perfect match of combining work and being with my family. My flowerpaintings have found their way world-wide. And my portraits are often commissioned and find their way nation- and worldwide.

In Florence, Italy, I've studied at the Angel Academy of Art to learn all about the classical portrait.
