Concept

I like to capture faces, expression, nature and woman's beauty and endowment in my paintings. I paint mainly in acrylic medium on Canvas and I love painting portraits, abstracts, nature, animals and landscapes. I also reflect the ills of society and modern man through my paintings in abstract form. The things I draw are from my immediate environment through my interaction with nature and the society at large, the everyday hustle and human trying to enjoy life and make ends meet. At the end, we all live to die one day....

Biography

My name is Akinokun Isaiah Abiola, I am a graduate with a background in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun state.

I started drawing at the age of 6, however, I couldn't push further with a career in art due to the discouragement I had growing up.

I was encouraged by my older brother to pursue art after my mandatory 1 year service to my country after graduation and since then I haven't stopped drawing.

I had to go on a break for a while due to my economy situation in other to meet ends meet.

i am hoping to have an exhibition soon as things are getting better now.

I have participated in some notable exhibitions in Nigeria (2013 - 2015).

I currently resides in Lagos, Nigeria.
