Concept

Joséphine Ching’s Artistry appeals to different generations on several levels: bringing forth moods and sentiments of the present day, among other themes. Her portraits are a means to relive an era, experience or memory. She creates and provides over the top fine art for luxury hospitality establishments, residences and individuals, catering to discriminating clientele who demand a certain level of attention and adds exponentially to their fine art and luxury quotient. she has sold a few pieces in the DMV where she first started, NY, LA, London and Central Africa with a few celebutantes collectors. Her last showcase was in the Umstead Hotel, North Carolina.

Biography

I moved to the United States in 2016. I got into Arts fully through the arts department in Montgomery College, which I attended for a while. It started out as a hobby, an escape, a means to do something I wasn’t failing in. Finding my way and calling in a new country is a journey with guaranteed hurdles and failures, but all that took a back seat when I decided to paint. Making a career out of has been tough, but after careful soul searching, I decided it’s worth it and I have something to say with every piece I create.
It’s being a years of painting and exploring my craft, alongside deep conversation and self realization. I finally know what I have to offer and intend to give everyone that crosses paths with my work an Experience. Diamond-hard times and positive “knuckleheadedness” have been my guide so far.
