She works in a variety of mediums such as acrylic, gouache, watercolor, canvas, cardboard, spray, etc., and digital art. She is not afraid to innovate in her work and enjoys painting portraits with surprise elements and creating fantastic worlds. Her works are characterized by free movement, by the raw energy between the materials, the brushstrokes, and the colors, transmitting the need to show her inner world and social themes that the artist has been addressing more, thus making art a vehicle for communication and social awareness. Since 2020 she has been venturing into urban art.

Born in the city of Praia, on the archipelago of Cabo Verde, West Africa from an early age showed interest in the arts. Born in the city of Praia, on the archipelago of Cabo Verde, West Africa from an early age showed interest in the arts. She was first instructed in the field of drawing by her father (a carpenter by profession) and continued her studies in the arts at the Palace of Culture Ildo Lobo with numerous visual artists. During her time in China, where she completed her higher education, she had the opportunity to strengthen her artistic curriculum with basic classes in Artistic Design and Visual Arts.
One of the highlights of the artist's journey was to participate in the Intensive Course in Arts at CulturArte: International Center for Young Artists, in the Visual Arts Area, a training that brought together young artists from Cape Verde and the USA for artistic and cultural exchange. There she learned that the artist has a responsibility to be the voice of the people and has to have the courage to talk about important social issues, which she has been trying to apply in her art.
