Disguise is inspired by the sudden loss of a woman's youth. The core element of the artwork is a large weaved structure stretching across the whole canvas, contrasting with a corrosive grey background, creating a powerful visual tension. The color red is artist's expression of male dominancy and gender inequality that inherited from Japanese colonial society in Taiwan in the 1950s.
