I paint to never die and to create beautiful things as I believe that Beauty is man's companion and target.
I try to work wide and diverse. This is my strength and express myself in a figurative work as in an abstraction, in hyper-realism as in landscape, a drawing or just playing with colors. Having concentrated on painting, drawing and trompe-l'oeil, I have developped a most personal technique that allows me to do many things. My work tends to be Hyper-realistic or just simply Trompe-l'oeil because I paint what I see.

I try to avoid labels because I believe that there is something more to creativity, such as playfulness and spontaneity, that makes it human related -like the cat in the « Garden of Eartly Delights ». I like to play with the media to lead and welcome the onlooker to my world, keeping always in mind that it has to be easy to read as well as accessible in its decyphering to others. My work is the expression of what I see, of what I live and feel in my every day life. My work is the expression of my beliefs. Mysticism and sacredness are the key words in Art. I also try to work with discipline, as well. I believe that if I want to express something aesthetically correct, I have to have a most definite order and focus to make it easy and beautiful for the eye to wander in. That's why, I believe, I like so much geometrical forms. Harmony, discipline, focus and the desire to overcome the material world and reach a more spiritual world of beauty, of truth is what propels the success of my work and expression.
My work is mostly figurative, but I have been flirting with abstraction since 2004. My goal is to succeed in representing a figurative reality that has no defined position, but can be seen from any angle, including changing the way it is shown.

I am a French artist from Iberian and Italian descent. As a child, I was quiet and didn’t talk until I was put in school at the age of 8. I realized my passion for art early in life when I participated in a national kids' art contest in 1967 and won my very first prize: my drawing of a fish was published on national television.
I then flew with my parents and whole family - dog included - to New York, where I lived until I was twenty years old. I went to high school and chose to study art. I participated in the decoration of the school doing murals and in collecting funds for the local library doing portraits at local fairs. I graduated from high school and went to Marist College, Poughkeepsie, where I majored in International Studies. During my third year, I studied abroad in Paris to improve my French, in order to become a diplomat. When I arrived in Paris, I was captivated by the city and decided to stay in Europe and changed my major to French Studies, with a minor in Art History. I graduated from the American University in Paris, and went then to la Sorbonne-Paris IV and studied linguistics, French literature and Japanese art, which has influenced my artistic work in many ways. In 2014, I moved to Zürich, where I live currently.
I have always wanted to become an artist, and I was elated when I started to work for friends and getting commissions in Paris in the late 1980s. To continue to grow my skills and support myself, I followed a apprenticeship in trompe-l’oeil. While I had already completed some jobs, I knew I could improve my technique.
Ever since, I have been painting, working for private patrons and exhibiting my work in Europe, Japan, the United States and Latin-America.
