Maria Jose Tovar Gil is a Colombian artist inspired by the varied nature of her country, she has participated in works for the University of Quindio with illustrations of birds and amphibians which have been published in books and scientific articles, she also works in nature works under request. She has been a formal artist for 5 years and has the ability to express what she feels and sees around her through watercolor and colored pencils. She currently creates works for non-profit foundations and works requested by people who wish to have a sample of nature in their environments.
