Biography

Nicholas Nasong'o Chemiat is a born and bred Kenyan artist from the vibrant shores of Mombasa. A product of a diverse multicultural environment which inspires his Afro spontaneous realism. He manipulates colour in a way that invigorates moods and energies.
Nicholas is a self proclaimed introvert who speaks through his paintings. He believes his paintings should compliment the surrounding just like a cherry compliments a cake. He challenges himself to create uniquely unexpected pieces that stir up the status quo.
