Concept

The artwork is based on a concept as I call Covenant Art, essentially a suggestive digital collage artwork, which is about recording the journey and the meaning of existence, focusing on little pleasures of life that impact and inspire all! I believe that, to be able to retain within, the precious moments, is sublime. It also creates a structure of existence. It makes one feel proud and good. It brings about a different expression of whom or what one is. It describes the complexity of one's existence, concentrating on the subtle pleasures, thereby acting as a reminder of what truly matters after all. It is about telling one's unique stories, creating an impact, in an inspirational manner. The artworks are created based on the individuals answers to a candid interview, where they are asked about their life journey with a special focus on understanding their psyche of what keeps them going. This artwork was based on answers given by well-known and established surgeon in the city of Mumbai-Dr. Rohit Shah. He said something so beautiful. He said that he constantly tells himself at work that Life after all is in Gods hands. This keeps him humble and grounded. He also mentally interprets his as well as his peers' role in this world as God's Angels, vested with the duty to save lives. This helps him remain true and authentic to his profession and makes him more efficient too! Other aspects he spoke about was the importance of team work and being updated with the right technology, as a necessity to compliment his work as a surgeon. I translated these aspects and several other of his answers to a well-researched questionnaire, into this suggestive digital collage artwork. A voice recording of his answers to the questionnaire is available to have a listen.
