Sofiia Strekanova was born in Ukraine, to the family of seamstress and IT programmer. Drawing, sculpting and painting was part of Sofiia's life from childhood. One of the prominent experiences of artists life were 6 years spent in Moscow, where young child had access to wide array of art museums. Sofiia moved once again when she were 19, to Poland, where the childhood plan of becoming a tattoo artist started to gain momentum. After 7 years of tattooing and thorough self education, Sofiia recieved an invitation from luxury brand RMK to collaborate on a special ukiyo-e collection of 2020, which was artist's first large commercial success. The very next year Sofiia got casted and was commissioned an illustration for an advertisment by Hewlett Packard. Currently artist continues her life in Europe and delves deeper into painting techniques, digital possibilities and history of art.
