Biography

Sandrine Langlade is a French artist from Réunion Island living in the Netherlands. Most of her exhibitions are in Europe, the USA and South America.

Sandrine Langlade is a French artist from Réunion Island living in the Netherlands. Most of her exhibitions are in Europe, the USA and South America.

She was 6 years old when she joined her first art camp and since then never stopped to paint. After one year in Brazil in 2004-2005 she exhibited her work for the first time at the MARGS's cafe (Museu de Arte do Rio Grande do Sul) in Porto Alegre. She was 21, sold almost everything and decided that one day, she would be a full time artist.

Though in 2008 she graduated at Sciences Po Paris and started to exhibit her work in Paris.

Her first international exhibition happened in 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.

In 2018 she was awarded the Leonardo Da Vinci international art prize in Florence and the Tribute to Tiziano prize in Venezia, during the Biennial of Nations.

In 2019, she offered a live painting at Spectrum Miami, USA, and in Reunion Island one week later, where she won the ARPAC Art Prize "prix du public" for the artist's best performance.
