Biography

Born September 10, 1991, in Iran. Pargol Brd https://www.pargolbrd.com is a contemporary surrealist illustrator who lives and works in Panama City, Panama.

Her distinctive personal style emanates pain and joy and expresses the vibrant spirit and atmosphere of her culture.

Her paintings pay homage to her journey in life. As the artist explains, “I search for the infinite possibilities of life in a realm where the line between reality and imagination fades away.”

As a child Pargol received prizes for her innate talent. From a young age she has believed, “my imagination is my art". Her work has been exhibited by Shieve Gallery, fifth annual exhibition of children and teenagers' paintings, when she was 10 years old. She earned a Bachelor of Art in 2014 and since then she has been continuing her journey into finding novelty and adventure in our seemingly simple daily lives, in a dramatic depiction.
