Takeru is a Copic marker landscape artist from Japan. His works are a direct reflection of his journey as an artist.

He studied English in his early days to become an English professor but changed his mid while studying as an exchange student in the United States. At this point, he decided to pursue his dream: becoming a 3D animator.

In his mid 20s, he trained as a 3D animator at San Francisco's Academy of Art university. During his studies, he got to try out different mediums and one of his favorites was the alcohol marker.

After going back to Japan, he started to create his 3D animated short. In the process, he realized he was missing something as an artist. To overcome his fear, he purchased a few one dollar markers and drew what he always loved: landscapes.

Now, he finds and draws subjects which resonates with him. His landscape art journey continues to this day...
