Jan Schejbal would like to get art among people, his vision and dream is that his works do not only hang in galleries, but can also be seen in cafes, public spaces, clothes or at home. He is a professional photographer who works for the Czech media. His desire to stop time led him to artistic activity and the creation of collages. To explain. He wants people to slow down his works, stop them and make them think and guess what the motive of his work is. He creates his collages exclusively from his own source photographs. This is a non-traditional and very original concept of collage, due to the fact that Jan Schejbal creates a digitally folded image without the use of scissors and glue. He composes images from his photographs and thus breathes a new dimension into these photos. This is an exceptional concept of collage. For interest, the collage usually consists of about 350 pieces and uses up to 30 photographs to create the collage itself. The theme for the collages is most often Schejbal's travels as well as the everyday life we ​​see around us. The source for abstractions often becomes the basic elements - water, shadows, the sun.
