My name is Roberto and I am a 23 years old sculptor from Romania. Sculpture is one of my biggest passions, i have always had a lot of love and admiration for the beauty of wood. Most of my inspiration is drawn from either my life, day to day interaction with the world and people and unique natural shapes and forms.
This love and passion was sparked when I was a small kid, I would always pick random sticks and wood pieces from the street, bringing them home cutting them with the help of my uncle to resemble different figurines, cars, people, fruits and so on. One of my favourite childhood toys of mine was a little wooden egg and it would just not come off my hand when I would play outside. So from this childhood love for wood and wood object combined with an everlasting love for art it brewed a bigger passion.
