Helena Zyryanova was born in 1971 on the Black Sea coast in Crimea, where she graduated from art school and always dreamed of becoming an artist. She lived for 12 years in Portugal, where she participated in collective and personal exhibitions, painted portraits from life and landscapes, which were popular and sold. She lived in Germany for 10 years, and in September 2022 she returned to Portugal, inspired by the views of the ocean, she continues her work. In 2018-2019, she was presented online at the Agora-Galery, New York.

I work in a surrealist style, very bright and colorful. It seems to me that my works reflect our world, putting emphasis on the meaning of life, actions, destinies and desires of people and my own. I find inspiration when I look at some photos on the Internet, walk the streets of the city, watch films or sometimes just in a dream. I create constantly and love each of my work, from a sketch to a signature on a painting, I adore the process of creation itself.»
