I paint cityscapes of Seattle, and oceanographic phenomena, including plankton that I have collected in Puget Sound and photographed under a microscope at the University of Washington. I allow paint to move freely and colors bleed together evoking water movement. The well-defined edges of my paintings create a sense of order in chaos.
My work has been exhibited in group shows, including the Burke Museum of Natural History in Seattle, Washington. My work is represented in the Director’s collection at the UW School of Oceanography.
