I am Elliott Luke Highmore; a second year BA (Hons) Fine Art: Painting student at Camberwell College of Arts. I live in Elephant and Castle, a vibrant community of London. Yet there is more that the world can reveal to me, these discoveries may lie within fine art.

My work derives from a fascination with metropolitan living colliding with ‘hedonistic’ desires, influenced by decadence and escapism, leading to developing expressionism in block colour with expanding motifs, intertwining a profound interest in typography and discourse, into how they yield meaning in social contexts.

My practice recently in painting is born from a place of stress and dwelling, the paintings have a bacterial quality which emanates in the way the forms interact with each other, a concept of forms shifting, expanding and converging.
