Andreea Coman specialized artistically in Paris and defined her style in Bucharest. A daring one in terms of materials used and techniques approached in carrying out her works. Thus, in Andrea's works, reclaimed leather, hand-painted textiles, lace and painted elements predominate. Through the collage technique, the materials whose initial purpose was a practical one acquire artistic value and the final expression is an abstract one. Using especially techniques from textile art (weaving, embroidery, sewing) Andreea Coman highlights flaws of some objects that lost their main purpose for which they were created, to gain a different aesthetic and compose a new story.
