"Most of the time some colours, a particular pink, a blue, a brown, offer themselves to me as a composition or harmony problem to be solved, a tension to be released, sometimes this problem-tension appears in a dream. It is something that can only be solved if it finds the right image, a partner.
This image grows on the canvas or it is found by vigilance in a garden, a city, a film, a thing. Then it is deconstructed and constructed again according to an inner impertive that marries image and colour.
The result is an abstract picture, an image that has sometimes a symbolic value. I find success is reached if the work celebrates the Beautiful.
Education:
I have worked in the United States where I received my first education in drawing and painting at the Fine Arts School of the California State University at San Bernardino.

After, in Spain, I have studied painting with the painter Agustín Reche, Professor of the Fine Arts School of the University of the Basque Country. Ten years approximately.
