I believe that the moment I see an object the purity of the object itself is lost. As long as it passes through the tube of my thought, the object ceases to be an object at that moment, and becomes an object that I think, see, and recognize. That is what I can't bear to do.
I wondered if I could create a stain on the wall. The very moment when the stain appeared, the blotch appeared. What I paint is not what I got from the object. When others appreciate my painting, it begins to become a stain on the wall, that is, my work. I feel that the distance between the painting and me becomes closer. I want to become a painting myself by painting the appearance of the stain. This is my answer to the term "art of introspection".
