Concept

"I am currently painting in ink and oil. My subjects are people, landscapes or mental landscapes, things that stick with me. I have been living in Italy for 20 years with an interest in icons and frescoes, but for several years now I have been fascinated by the beauty of Japanese ink. In the course of our lives we come across various sad and painful moments, but at such times we find scenery that touches our hearts. If possible, I would like to share this with others. In order to express the rich gradation from light to dark, sumi and monotone tones are the best way. In some cases, I use a combination of black ink and oil paint. I hope that these enrich my content and give warmth to others."

Biography

Born in Aichi, Japan in 1970, he graduated from Musashino Art University in 1993 with a degree in oil painting, and entered the Brera Institute of Fine Arts in Milan in 1999 with an Italian government scholarship. Every year, he holds a solo exhibition mainly in Milan.
