"Maido! I was born in Osaka, love to travel and have traveled to more than 30 countries, and since 2005 I have been based in Barcelona, Spain, where I have been working as an artist. Basically, I draw on the walls of hotels and restaurants, show windows and campuses without any drafts, improvising. That way I can incorporate new ideas into my paintings and I like to have the freedom to run my pen around. I like to paint in monotone. I want to make art more accessible to children and spread the wonder of art to them. I want to do something interesting with a pen the size of a missile in my hand..."
