With no formal training in fine arts, I unexpectedly stumbled into the art world the unconventional way when I picked up a few paintbrushes and basic supplies on a mere whim.
My inspiration comes from a keen admiration of the life and work of Vincent Van Gogh. Through my paintings, I attempt to explore more about the world around me and how it affects me. For me, every shape, form, figure, and color project a particular representation of its meaning and purpose in my mind which I try to capture in my work as best as I can.
I enjoy experimenting with different abstract styles and subjects such as portraits and landscapes. So far, I have started out with the acrylics medium because it allows me more range to create vivid works with the depth of color and tone that I want. However, in due course of time, I would also love to use oils and other mediums to craft a more diverse array of work.
My first audience was the internet. Finished pieces were shared with friends and even strangers. I am grateful for the encouragement and advice that has pushed me to take my art further.
