I am Joko Supriyono I make drawings and paintings since I was a child, always motivated to learn and explore something new with an urge to express my experiences as a person. Picasso and Basquiat always inspired me since I get to know there work. But also any kind of artist who's work radiates a more radical use of colors and tones in such a way you can see and feel the fearlessness. In my work I like to overlap techniques, thus exploring how to make line work collaborate with different techniques. The style of my work I most related to is expressive naive. Expression because of the fearlessness of colors and figures. And naieve because the unspoken deeper emotions expressed in a kind of innocent way.
