Painter, sculptor, set designer, actor/director and theater author, he has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, curated and set up numerous plays of prose, opera and cinema. He is a scholar and researcher of the visual and performing arts on a historical and critical level. He has held lectures and conferences, produced essays and curated exhibitions.

"My paintings underlies the research in making visible the elusive. A combination of soft atmospheric vibrations in the gradual transition between light and shadow. A transition without sudden movements that crumbles every contour line. All the perceived is in motion, in becoming. I work with textures, veils of color, the space that separates us from the dazzling light or its reflection. The form, the base for my compositions, shatter, crumble into points, strokes, signs: I pay attention to the substantia in which the forms are immersed.
I take the landscapes and environments, the architectures of man: I called them the memories. But I just take the traces, footprints of the mankind' passage, more than a real presence, sometimes just revealed by a shadow. The human figure is evoked and solicited in the memory by signs, fragments, clues: an evocation that delves into memory, sometimes into dreams, into history…. A reassuring continuum of balances / imbalances, of a relaxed tensions and exasperated tensions... "
