Biography

Movses Petrosyan was born in 1967 in Yerevan, Armenia. He graduated from Terlemezyan Fine Arts College in 1982 and Fine Art Institute of Yerevan in 1986. Since then, he has participated in many group and individual exhibitions,. His works are exhibited in many art galleries and form part of personal collections. His pictures are inserted in the Vernisage of Yerevan.
Movses Petrosyan is an experienced artist from Armenia whose paintings have been exhibited in group shows internationally. Mixing abstraction and impressionism, Petrosyan creates acrylic works on canvas with the intention to transmit a spiritual word through art. His paintings are characterized by complementary color palettes and textures that emerge from the canvas through the use of layering and gestural techniques.
