I was tudied industrial design at a university, studied its creative aspects, and began to work on flat works. In particular, I am influenced by the spatial expression of works of Rinpa, abstract expressionism, and minimalism, and creates abstract works that use the relationship between figures and the earth, automatism, and geometric forms. From around 2010, I began to create works that painted images of disassembled and reconstructed photographs of flowers taken on the street. The form of the plane between consciousness and unconsciousness is trying to portray another aspect of things. To create a work for me is to realize what I wanted unconsciously by capturing incidents and trivial things that happened, and that is what I tend to overlook. I feel something important is hiding.
