Concept

Akiko Yamazaki’s house was operating a public bath were used to be her playground when she was a child. Her house was removed by the reason for moving, she still remembers strongly of her old house and public house which strongly affects her art creation. Memory, space, time, and their relationships are important elements in her art creation. Themes are slightly different for each work in which she is studying the relationship between the elements that make up her artwork and the current existence.
