About This Artist

When Eiki Mizutani studying at the Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in oriental materials, she was particularly interested in “dyeing” and “back coloring” which are all unique methods compare to other normal painting or drawing. Moreover, she started to learn western art and interested in German artist Sigmar Polke and his art concept, depth of the painting. After that , she started to think inside and outside the artwork’s world and tries to send messages to the viewer from inside of the artworks.
