Eriko Iwadate is a mix media and three-dimensional artist creating collages and 3D sculptures. She uses pieces of broken mirrors and cloth to create art that represents aspects that are not visible to the eye such as insanity, instinct, unconsciousness, and impulsivity. She finds it important to create her art with the motivation and inspiration she gets during her production process. The most interesting aspect of her mirror sculptures is the various objects that are reflected in the broken glass. Depending on the surrounding environment, the art piece can change. She plans to continue exploring three-dimensional artwork made out of glass and cloth.
